MASTER TRACKER
|Ui (pronounced Twi) is a highly experienced, certified Master Tracker, based at the Baobab Bushcraft and San Cultural Village of Djamta!’ae in the northern Nyae Nyae. He speaks good English and reasonable Afrikaans. His tracking work is internationally renowned and has taken him to Angola, Tanzania, Botswana, and even to France to study and interpret ancient cave paintings.

|Ui (ausgesprochen Twi) ist ein erfahrener, zertifizierter Fährtenlesermeister und lebt im Baobab Bushcraft and San Cultural Village in Djamta!’ae im nördlichen Nyae Nyae. Er spricht gut Englisch und passabel Afrikaans. Seine Fährtenlesekunst genießt internationales Ansehen und führte ihn bereits nach Angola, Tansania, Botswana und sogar nach Frankreich, wo er alte Höhlenmalereien studierte und interpretierte.

Based at the Baobab Bushcraft and San Cultural Village of Djamta!’ae in the northern Nyae Nyae, #Oma (pronounced Toma) is a certified Master Tracker. He speaks reasonable English. He is very talented and a very gentle and patient teacher who can show you all the signs and ways of animals, and explain how the Ju|’hoansi hunt. #Oma is also a skilled craftsman.

CRAFTSMAN
Based in both Tsumkwe and Di//xao#oha in the central Nyae Nyae, !Amace (pronounced Gamma-shay) is a very skilled blacksmith and craftsman in all traditional Ju|’hoan crafts. He is also extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Ju|’hoan culture. He speaks good English and Afrikaans. !Amace can teach you to make knives, bows and arrows and other indigenous artefacts.

N|hakxa Kxunta
JEWELLERY MAKER
N|hakxa (pronounced Nah-kah) is an exceptional craftswoman, utilising used ostrich shell to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces of the traditional Ju|'hoansi design. Her speciality is making heavy, twisted strand necklaces, each one using hundreds of hand made discs. She is based in the Baobab Cultural Village of Djamta!'ae and happy to teach her craft.
SCHMUCKKÜNSTLERIN
N|hakxa (ausgesprochen Nah-kah) ist eine außergewöhnliche Kunsthandwerkerin, die aus gebrauchten Straußenschalen Ohrringe, Armbänder und Halsketten im traditionellen Ju|'hoansi-Design fertigt. Ihre Spezialität sind schwere, gedrehte Ketten, die jeweils aus Hunderten handgefertigter Scheiben bestehen. Sie lebt im Baobab-Kulturdorf Djamta!'ae und gibt ihr Handwerk gerne an andere weiter.

WILD FOOD FORAGER
N!oce (pronounced Noh-shay) is a very experienced forager, who knows all the local plants used to provide both food and medicine. To walk with her on a guided bush walk is to see the semi-arid landscape through totally different eyes. She also knows many of the traditional games and dances, as well as being an expert jewellery maker. N!oce is always quick to laugh and joke while only speaking a little English.

N!oce (ausgesprochen Noh-shay) ist eine sehr erfahrene Sammlerin, die alle einheimischen Pflanzen kennt, die sowohl als Nahrung als auch als Heilmittel dienen. Mit ihr auf einer geführten Buschwanderung zu wandern, eröffnet einem ganz neue Perspektiven auf die halbtrockene Landschaft. Sie kennt auch viele traditionelle Spiele und Tänze und ist zudem eine begabte Schmuckherstellerin. N!oce lacht und scherzt gern, obwohl sie nur wenig Englisch spricht.
