"For over 20 years, the Western Heritage Livery at Heritage Village has been a place where everyone can have an authentic cowboy horse experience. This livery operates like the livery barns of yesteryear, a place for cowboys and cowgirls to gather, ride, and talk shop. You'll love the Livery's trail rides in the Black Hills National Forest. You can take a ride that lasts from one to four hours, on experienced, trail gentle horses. Rides leave Heritage Village on the Mickelson Trail, then cross into the natural beauty of the National Forest for a scenic ride in the Buckhorn Mountain range. Dude rides are also available on adult-led horses in the main arena for younger cowpokes who can't ride for long periods."   --Annie

"Western Heritage Livery is run by Rockin' R. Rides, Inc., which is owned and operated by Randy Knox and Peggy Smith.  They specialize in family oriented small group trail rides with knowledgeable and professional guides.  Be sure to bring your camera!  They're open 7 days a week, Memorial weekend through mid-September, under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service."   --Roger
